Our work includes a portfolio of brands owned and created by us, as well as a suite of world-class events, designed and run on behalf of corporate, institutional and government clients.

Current Projects.

Something Digital creates human centred experiences focused on strengthening Queensland’s digital economy. As digital innovation becomes more critical for growth, it is imperative that organisations leverage the returns, strategies and efficiencies enabled through advanced technologies.

Through its initiatives, Something Digital provides our ecosystem with opportunities to build digital capabilities, facilitate collaboration and showcase some of the great innovations happening right here in our backyard. 

2018 to Present

In 2022, Something Digital expanded into Something Fest through a collaboration with River City Labs, Proptech BNE and The Queensland Government.

Something Fest delivers a full week of digital, innovation and technology activations for Australia’s innovation ecosystem.

In 2023 Something Fest had over 3500 participants over the course of the week.

2022 to Present

The Brisbane Portrait Prize is all about celebrating Brisbane portrait artists and their sitters, while encouraging public engagement with the arts.

Any artist with a connection to Brisbane is eligible to enter. The sitter must also have a connection with Brisbane.

Bright Humans were engaged in the inaugural year to provide the end to end project and event management including all prize submissions + judging management, event management throughout the year and finalists exhibition management.

2019 to Present

The Content Summit Australia is a huge day of everything #content from the people and brands who do it best. With speakers and panels on strategy, social, email, publications, video, podcasts, influencers and much, much more. 

With a focus on how to create, execute and measure a content strategy for your business, the day is the perfect professional development opportunity for content teams around the country.

2023 to Present

The Women in Digital Awards were founded in 2018 based on the idea ‘you can’t be what you can’t see.’

The awards are a celebration of incredible women within the digital industries and the organisations that support them.

Bright Humans were engaged in 2023 to provide end to end project management of the Awards Gala.

2023 to Present.

A series of 5 short sessions run over the course of the year, run in the Liquid Interactive Studio and streamed online.

The content is be bold, provocative and unexpected. It encourages the audience to think differently about the way the world is changing. The events excite those who attend and incite FOMO in those who are not (or perhaps weren’t invited).

A series of dinners in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne to bring together key stakeholders to discuss, understand and experience the nine planetary boundaries.

Creating an understanding of the nine planetary boundaries and how we need to design cities to account for them, is critical. As we edge to the point of no return, we are encouraged by the overall global efforts  to build a more sustainable future for our planet. 


Created by Bright Humans in 2015, generationYOU was a series of events designed purely for young people (those aged between 17-25) seeking to bridge the gap between formal education and the hands on skills that employers expect in the workplace.

From short sessions, to full day events and online workshops, we give participants the opportunity to learn directly from industry professionals, entrepreneurs, mentors and managers, all whilst growing their network and developing skills to stand out from the crowd!

2015 to 2021.

Run by the Australian Red Cross, this full day event will bought together key stakeholders to explore how we can support our Queensland Communities’ prepare for the challenges of drought.

The first section of the day focussed on setting the scene before proceeding into roundtable workshops.

Brisbane + Online

Combining science, agriculture and responsible innovation to strengthen Australian farming and land management.

The Responsible Agtech Symposium will run May 2021, bringing together science, government and industry to focus on the future of this vital industry in Australia. 


Run by Brisbane Marketing, Brisbane Innovate is an annual summit that provides residents and businesses of Brisbane the opportunity to come together to solve big city challenges.

In 2018, the Brisbane Innovate Lab began as a way to provide this capability in an “always-on” capacity.

2016 to 2019

The Multicultural Queensland Charter Speaker Series is one of the key ways the Queensland Government is promoting the Multicultural Queensland Charter (the Charter). The Series aims to build understanding of the Charter’s principles, and how these can be brought to life in a practical sense.

2018 to 2019

EMSA is Australia’s premier email marketing summit. Hosted by Vision6, EMSA is designed by email marketers for email marketers. The content focuses on specific strategies to get the most out of this integral channel in terms of ROI, branding, customer management & communication.
